The journey of Cristiano Ronaldo rising to be one of the greatest football players in the world. Ronaldo grew up on the small island of Madeira in Portugal, born and raised in Sao Pedro, Funchal. As a child Ronaldo had to share one bedroom with his three siblings. In 2002 at the age of 16 Ronaldo began training with Sporting Lisbon. Ronaldo moved to Manchester United in 2003 for six years, followed by nine years with Real Madrid and currently plays for the Italian club Juventus.
